Romantic Wear for Women Who Don't Live in a French Film

This modern world doesn't seem to allow much room for women to dress romantically...in long pretty dresses trimmed in lace, with flowers on our heads....after all, most of us DO NOT live in the country, with the birds chirping and the dogs barking at the fish in the pond out back....nor do we live in a French film...so what's a girl to do if she wants to dress in a romantic way?

Just do it sparingly.  Leave the wreath of flowers on your bed post and wear the pretty dress...with a pair of urban motorcycle boots and a denim or soft leather jacket.  That way, you will not look too weird, but be just different enough for people to whisper as you walk by "Isn't she romantic?"
